Accreditation Requirements
Media cards are delivered on the basis of a few stringent criteria, after deliberation between the organizers and the national federation RACB.
Criteria must be met in order to obtain a media card.
* Holders of an official press card (delivered by the Ministry of Internal Affairs) or a "Media Pass RACB Accreditation" are automatically granted access to Circuit Zolder.
* Journalists without official press card, applying under the authority of a medium (assignment issued by the general editor or an editor-in-chief) will be taken into account:
- accredited audiovisual media (national radio, regional and national TV stations) - (local radio station: transmission range only within a perimeter of 20 kilometres around Circuit Zolder;
- printed media with sufficient edition (newspapers, magazines (of general interest of specialised), free local papers);
- electronic media from the (car)sports sector with sufficient unique monthly visitors - to this end, an independent web stat must be presented. The organisation autonomously determines the meaning of the word ‘sufficient’, although a number of guidelines are respected, which were established in common by all organisers.
The following persons will be excluded anyhow: amateur photographers, collaborators of drivers’ or team websites, photo websites, etc.
* Photographers affiliated to an accredited association of professional photographers, who can present a professional insurance, applying under the authority of a medium (assignment issued by the general editor or an editor-in-chief) will be taken into account.
* Journalists or photographers working for a press or news agency will be taken into account, provided that an assignment can be presented.
* Photographers or press officers working under the authority of a series, a championship or an organizer, will be taken into account for an accreditation.
For each medium, only 2 accreditations will be issued, except for the 24 Hours of Zolder (max. 4 accreditations).
Media cards will exclusively be issued to adults (18 +).
The organisation reserves the right to withdraw an accreditation in case of abuse or in case of malicious non-observance of the guidelines of the organisation.
