Superleague Formula

"Football at 300 km/h” - Superleague Formula is an international football themed motor racing series based on the passion of international club football and the excitement and drama of motor racing. The unique concept -where identical single-seater V12, 750 bhp cars branded with football club liveries defend the colours of the top football clubs from around the world will battle it out in the second year of the series. The series was internationally acclaimed for its fast and furious cars and innovative race format with spectacle and excitement right up to the last corner.
 

  

International drivers such as Robert Doornbos battle it out for podium finishes in the series, thrilling spectators with nail biting racing. During the inaugural season of Superleague Formula, spectator attendance grew at every race weekend, ending on a high in Jerez, Spain with over 40,000 spectators watching the grand finale.  
 

All cars competing in Superleague Formula have an identical chassis and V12-engine, making a glorious sound. In terms of speed and performance, the cars are some of the fastest you can see at a race circuit and because all cars are the same under the bonnet, success in the series basically comes down to driver skill. It is not who has the biggest cheque book but who has the best driver!
